Amadeus Remote Ticketing Solution (RTS) is a fully automated platform for business organization of interaction between IATA agency (Consolidator) and non IATA point of sale (Subagent). With Amadeus RTS travel agencies (sub agencies or sales outlets) and consolidators can increase their sales and in the same time improve their operational efficiency through automating current manual processes.
There are two basic groups of clients in Amadeus RTS: Non IATA agencies (or point of sale) Subagents
Product Amadeus RTS is obtained by IATA agency Consolidator. These groups will unite different subagents or points of sales by some common parameters and facilitate the controlling function for consolidator. Subagents groups identify basic restrictions, such as available commands, balance period and credit limit.
The option of extended restrictions provides wider opportunities for consolidators. It enables them to set a range of restrictions for the particular carrier. Extended restrictions include such items as country of origin/destination, booking class, fare basis, form of payment and others. Sales data may be downloaded into xls or xml format.
Ticketing robot allows a subagent office to perform the following procedures:
Request issue, cancellation and refund of an electronic ticket
Request issue, cancellation, reinstate and refund of VMCO
Simultaneous work with several consolidators
Accounting of credit limits
Printing (repeated printing at any time) Itinerary Receipt
Subagents have an access to view the current state of settlements with consolidators via page balance.
Reporting pages contain every document issued in the IATA accredited office. Sales data may be downloaded into xls or xml format. Subagent may use these files to integrate with MOS/BOS applications.
